Their origin lies in the 70s and they have since been uninterrupted in different variants, in the Berkemann range. The soft toeffler impresses with a particularly soft edge on the entrance. The double-layered, extra leather protects the instep as a soft bead from chafing and makes it twice comfortable to wear. Like all toeffler from Berkemann – as a quality feature – the soft-toeffler has a sturdy yet breathable genuine leather shaft, which is attached to the solid wood sole with nails instead of cheaper stapling needles. In addition, the original 5-phase footbed incorporated into the lightweight poplar wood sole supports the natural rolling process of the foot while the toe grip function trains both foot and calf muscles with every step.
